I was instantly smitten when I found the photo of this young bison, and just had to draw her! Most bison photography showcases their power and austerity...... This was different. I could imagine her frolicking in the meadows, playing hide-and-seek in the tall grasses, rolling around in fields of dandelions and sagebrush! Here, she pauses briefly with a twinkle in her eye before skipping back to her mischief!
