In 2023, I had the special opportunity to draw a series of houses for the Fort Collins Historic Homes Tour. But when they asked for samples of my work, I only had wildlife portraits to show! I created this piece from one of my favorite homes in town, the Edward's House, as an architectural drawing sample.
This piece stretched me in so many ways! I had never worked with a deadline until this point, and there were many technical elements that I had to learn as well. This piece was in-and-of-itself the launchpad to my professional artistic journey!
